April works in multiple mediums, including beadwork, photography, and painting. As a Two Spirit individual, she has a deep passion for promoting cultural knowledge through her artwork, shaped by her experiences growing up on a colonized reservation. Through her art, April strives to challenge stereotypes and highlight the true nature of First Nations people, emphasizing their patience, kindness, and spirituality. She believes that spirituality is an essential aspect of their identity that they hold onto firmly.
One example of this is the Medicine Wheel. While it originated from First Nations culture, the Medicine Wheel represents everyone and everything on this Earth plane.
